Pas members can attend functions if for good of party - Tuan Ibrahim

PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said members can attend any function as it is consistent with the party's stand.

"PAS members can attend functions that spread the Islamic message of doing good things and avoiding bad things," he told Bernama when asked about the presence of Datuk Husam Musa at a dinner organised by Amanah here, last night.

Former PAS vice-president Husam told the audience that his presence was consistent with the party's stand which allow members to attend functions.

Tuan Ibrahim said PAS would assess the presence of members at functions, adding it was the responsibility of members to defend the party against lies.
