Pas muktamar: Certain parties want to disrupt assembly - Takiyuddin
Takiyuddin said PAS was willing to consider giving a consolation sum to traders and the public who were hurt in the storm which lashed Kedah PAS Complex last night.
PAS secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said there are attempts by certain parties to disrupt the party's 63rd general assembly being held at Kedah PAS Compex.
"We know who put up the orange posters, pamphlets and newspaper inserts. It is a desperate attempt by certain parties to disrupt our assembly," he told reporters here, today.
A monkey doll complete with turban was found in Jalan Tandop, five kilometers from Kedah PAS Complex at Kota Sarang Semut.
Takiyuddin said PAS was willing to consider giving a consolation sum to traders and the public who were hurt in the storm which lashed Kedah PAS Complex last night.
"It is not due to our negligence. In my view, they (the victims) are not entitled to claim damages."
A storm destroyed a tent used by Haraki Entrepreneurship Club (KU-Haraki) leaving 19 people hurt.
