DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang on Saturday described the decision by the PAS Ulama Council that unanimously passed the emergency motion to sever ties with the DAP on Wednesday as an act of 'killing' the opposition pact.
"After the (PAS) annual assembly, the opposition coalition had been 'killed'. Now, we are in the 'aftermath' and we will see what is our position (in the pact)," he said after handing over house keys to flood victims in Kampung Pasir Tumboh here.
However, PAS said the motion would be studied at the level of the Syura Council and PAS Central Working Committee.
At the event, national laureate Datuk A. Samad Said, 83, also announced his membership in the predominantly Chinese opposition party.
