Pas is unafraid to face DAP if the latter wants to field their candidate to contest for the Kota Lama state seat in Kelantan.
PAS secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said this was because the party was confident that the voters would continue giving their support to Pas.
He said any party could try to contest for the state seat, but the public support to the government, including from the non-Muslims, implied that the end result would be in Pas favour.
"The attendance of non-Muslims tonight is proof of their acceptance of Pas" he told reporters after the launch of Cheng Ho Arcway and the Lantern Festival 2017 by Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob here last night.
Also present was Kota Lama assemblyman Datuk Anuar Tan Abdullah.
