Pasir Gudang MCA Youth Chief issue solved - Tiong Lai

MCA President, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai viewed the issue involving Pasir Gudang MCA Youth Chief who had allegedly wanted to sever ties with the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to be resolved within Barisan Nasional (BN).
This decision was reached after Johor UMNO and MCA had achieved a consensus in resolving the issue amicably.
“We have arrived at a consensus where this issue can be solved. Pasir Gudang MCA Youth Chief obliged with the decision made by central leadership.
“Central leadership has ensured that all issues pertaining BN will be solved in our manner,” said Tiong Lai, when met after the closing ceremony of World Communication Forum Kuala Lumpur held at the Putra World Trade Centre, here today.
Tiong Lai, who is also the Transport Minister, is hopeful that the matter will not resurface, instead all BN members should focus single-mindedly on national economic development.
“I hope all will be united to face national economic challenges. We should not be fall apart, we must be united and support Najib’s leadership in ensuring economic issues will be addressed soon,” said Tiong Lai.
MCA is committed to assist the Prime Minister to solve the economic challenges faced by our country,” he added.
Pasir Gudang MCA Youth, Chia Chow Hui had issued a statement to sever ties with Najib following his statement to support the Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu rally held here on Sept 16.
UMNO Youth Chief, Khairy Jamaluddin slammed Chow Hui’s statement as premature and reasonable.
