PAU2016: Wanita UMNO to create report card on members' performance

Wanita UMNO will create a report card on the performance of its members especially at the divisional level beginning January.

Its head, Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil said the report card would be handed to party president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak for scrutiny and evaluation.

"I want to give the report card to the (party) president on the hardship, benefits and requirements of the Wanita UMNO members so that the president knows what is happening.

"Whether there is oppression or otherwise, what are the requirements of the women, their strengths and how to improve their leadership," she told reporters after the Wanita UMNO General Assembly today.

Shahrizat said Wanita UMNO members must also have confidence and the ability to fight for their own rughts to avoid any form of oppression that might come from the UMNO divisions in discharging their duties. -- BERNAMA
