Perak Politics: 'I will be disappointed if Malays split' - Annuar Musa

KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional (BN) secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa has expressed displeasure over what is happening in the Perak political situation at this time.
He also revealed that UMNO leaders did not have the opportunity to discuss it in the Political Bureau or even the Supreme Council (MKT).
"Honestly, I am not happy with what happened in Perak. We do not have the opportunity to discuss in advance at in the Political Bureau or MKT (UMNO).
"I pray that the struggle to ensure the solidarity and unity of the ummah, will not be affected," he said in a Twitter post on Friday.
Annuar who is also Federal Territories Minister also expressed his disappointment if the Malays were divided over the crisis.

Earlier, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu failed to gain the support of the majority of State Assemblymen (ADUN) in the motion of 'confidence of the majority of House members in the Menteri Besar' (vote of confidence) which took place on Friday morning.
In the bloc voting, the motion received only 10 votes, compared to 48 who did not support and one abstained.
