PKR to discuss fate of three PAS exco
Pakatan Harapan chief secretary Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah however, declined to elaborate further on the matter.
PKR will discuss the political situation in Selangor, particularly the fate of the three Pas exco members at its political bureau meeting tonight.
Pakatan Harapan chief secretary Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah however, declined to elaborate further on the matter.
"The matter will only be discussed at the meeting today," he said at a press conference held at PKR headquarters today.
Saifuddin also could not confirm if Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali who is also the PKR deputy president will attend the meeting.
However, Azmin's Twitter account revealed that he is travelling overseas.
Pas's Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi and Zaidy Abdul Talib are the executive councillors for Housing, Building Management and Urban Living; Islamic Religious Affairs, Malay Customs, Rural Development and Traditional Villages; and Infrastructure, Public Amenities and Agro-based Industries respectively.
On May 11, Pas Syura Council announced that it is ending its political alliance with PKR, citing several reasons including PKR’s failure to support the party's Islamic agenda.

Other reasons include the RUU355 issue and attacks by PKR leaders on the PAS leadership.
Since the issue erupted, Azmin is yet to comment on the fate of the three Pas exco.
PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man yesterday said he had met the three councillors and had learned that they had received no instruction from Azmin to give up their posts.
He said a state executive councillor is appointed by the Sultan on the advice of the Menteri Besar, and Pas respect their decision.
"The mandate given to them is up to the 14th general election and we will safeguard the mandate up to the next general election," he said at a press conference at the PAS headquarters yesterday.
