PKR questions state govt's move in limiting Azmin Ali's stay in Sarawak

Sarawak PKR questioned the state government's move in limiting the duration of stay for its deputy president, Datuk Seri Mohd Azmin Ali.
The party's operations room director, Lynette Tan described it as an abuse of the Immigration Act.
"On what basis was the decision to limit Azmin's duration in Sarawak?
"The provisions in the Act requires it to be carried out according the rules," said Tan.
Azmin, who is also the Selangor Menteri Besar arrived in Kuching this morning and used his passport to enter Sarawak.
However, the official stamp on his passport showed that he was only allowed to be in the state until May 2.
Normally, the people from other states are allowed to enter Sarawak for up to 90 days.
Early voting is fixed for May 3, while the polling day will take place on May 7.
