PKR top guns to meet RoS over Khalid's sacking
The Registrar of Societies (RoS) summoned PKRs president and secretary-general to give statements on the sacking of former Selangor MB.
The Registrar of Societies (RoS) had summoned PKR’s president and secretary-general to give their statements on the sacking of former Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim from the party last month.
Party secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution is to meet the RoS at 2pm tomorrow while party president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is scheduled to meet them at 2.30, TheMalaysianInsider reported.
On Aug 9, PKR had expelled Abdul Khalid who was the party’s lifetime member, immediately.
PKR disciplinary committee chairman Datuk Dr Tan Kee Kwong said the decision was made after the party’s central leadership meeting held an inquiry to review the disciplinary cases against Abdul Khalid.
He said Abdul Khalid failed to adhere to the decision made by the central leadership which unanimously chose PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on July 21.
The RoS had also met Dr Tan over Abdul Khalid’s sacking on Aug 28.
