Political cooperation with DAP revoked - PAS ulama council

The PAS Ulama Council has decided that the political cooperation between PAS and the DAP has been cancelled.
The secretary of the party's Ulama Council, Datuk Dr Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh said the meeting of the council yesterday, however, retained the political cooperation with PKR.
"The decision was handed over to the PAS Central Working Committee for implementation according to appropriateness and the current political requirement," he said in a statement today.
He said the Ulama Council regretted the continuous provocation and the decision of the DAP to criticise and violate the spirit of the opposition pact's cooperation.
Nik Muhammad Zawawi said the council also found that the DAP had intervened in matters concerning the faith, policies and objectives of PAS.
