Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) could not just fight for the rights of the Malays.
Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said in this day and age, such raced-based struggles could not serve as the main platform for a political party.
"So for NGO leaders such as Datuk Ibrahim Ali to want such a thing, we cannot cater to that," he said, adding that the Perkasa chief should clearly state his stand on his relations with PPBM.
"There are members from Persatuan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia who have joined our party," Dr Mahathir said during the media conference by the party’s top leadership here today.
He was asked to comment on Ibrahim's recent statement that the latter did not intend to be a part of PPBM despite being seen as having close relations with the former premier.
