PAS's Datuk Dr Haron Din said professionals are not sidelined in the recently concluded PAS elections.
The almost landslide victory of pro '
ulama' team in the recently concluded PAS elections does not mean the professionals are sidelines, said PAS spiritual leader Datuk Dr Haron Din.
He said contributions from the professionals are necessary to strengthen the party further.
"This does not mean the professionals are sidelined for ever. No. I hope they will continue to contribute to the party," he told reporters when met at the PAS 61st Muktamar, held at Kuala Selangor, today.
He said he was not surprised at the results which
favouredthe
ulamaas it was evident from the list of candidates list that they will win.

pollsresults should not be deemed as the biggest victory for the
ulama.
On the message from the grassroots, Haron said they want the
ulamato lead the party.
He said the grassroots want the
ulamato take on more responsibilities and to carry out their duties with dedication.
