Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (TERAS) president Tan Sri William Mawan has called on the people to rally stronger behind Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem in the coming state election expected before June
next year.
"Adenan has pledged his commitment to stronger rural development. He has also shown himself to be a very fair leader of all races.
"He has made many major decisions to solve the people's grievances and will certainly do more and deserves our continuing support," said Mawan, who is also state Social Development Minister.
He told the media this after meeting community leaders from Kalaka, Kabong and Krian in Saratok, who later presented to him some 1,150 new applications forms to join TERAS.
He said TERAS, as a BN friendly party, had the four pillars vital to realise its goal to bring about development and greater unity.
"First of all, our other leaders are in the state government. We have the power and in the position to help.
We have the fund from the government and we have already implemented and will be implementing more development projects," he said.
