Sabah PKR state assemblyman, Roland Chia steps down

PKR state assemblyman for Inanam, Roland Chia stepped down as state representative effective today due to health reasons.

Roland on his Facebook posting expressed his gratitude towards his voters in Inanam and PKR leaders who had supported him for the past 17 month.

“Due to health reasons I will step down as Adun Inanam.

Roland also tweeted the same message on his Twitter page.

Roland beat Barisan Nasional candidate Joseph Paulus Lantip and Parti Maju Sabah candidate, Enchin Majimbun with a majority of 3,202 votes in the 13th General Election.

He garnered 8,926 votes beating Joseph Paulus who gained 5,724 votes and Enchin with 5,003 votes.
