Chinese-based party, SUPP believes this state election will be the best opportunity for the party to win more seats.
Its president Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said the BN state government led by Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem had duly resolved many issues affecting the rakyat including the Chinese.
"The people-centred government has addressed the problem for the benefit of the community," he told reporters after unveiling the party's manifesto themed 'United for a Sarawak only for the Sarawakian' at its headquarters here today.
"Please give us one chance. The opposition especially DAP has been given 10 years of opportunities. They can only talk but not deliver. We need YB who can deliver and solve people's problems," he said.
SUPP is contesting in 13 seats in this state election.
In the 2011 state election, SUPP won six of the 19 seats it contested while in 2006, it secured 11 out of 19 seats.
"The Chinese must have more representatives inside the government and not outside the government.
"DAP will once again lead the Chinese from outside the government if voters choose them. They want to be a hero but end up as zero," he said.
On SUPP's manifesto, Dr Sim said the documents highlighted 13 pledges for Sarawakians including safeguarding the state's interest, promoting a government of the people, a moderate society and boosting the state's trade and economy.
