Sarawak election: PKR leaders remain spirited despite challenges - Mohamed Azmin

The spirit within PKR leaders in preparing for the upcoming Sarawak Election remain strong despite being barred from entering Sarawak by the Immigration Department, said PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
“Although they (body) could not enter Sarawak but their spirit is there,” said Azmin when asked to comment on the barring of Wanita PKR chief Zuraida Kamaruddin from entering Sarawak.
In speaking on the party’s preparation for the election Azmin said various form of technology is now available to aid PKR in their preparation.
“Now there are various ways. With (the existence) of social media and the internet.
“We can always communicate with people through various methods. There is no problem,” said Azmin during a press conference held in Taman Bahagia, here today.
Earlier, Wanita PKR chief Zuraida Kamaruddin became the latest opposition leader to be barred from entering Sarawak by Immigration officers at the Kuching International Airport, on Friday.
The party’s deputy Wanita chief Haniza Talha who travelled together with Haniza was however allowed to enter the state.
Commenting on the Opposition party’s preparation for the Sarawak election, Mohamed Azmin said he was optimistic that opposition leaders in Sarawak will maintain with their one to one fight.
He added that there remains room for discussions to be held between PAS and DAP to ensure a three corner fight among opposition parties will not take place.
On Saturday, PAS Election director Datuk Mustafa Ali said the party will place 11 candidates for the Sarawak Election.
