Police will be focusing on 20 hotspots in the Sarawak state election which will begin tomorrow, Bukit Aman Management Department director Datuk Seri Zulkifli Abdullah said.
Additional monitoring will be given to these areas, he added.
“We are confident that there will be no major incidents in the areas,” he said at a press conference today adding that the police are prepared to face any untoward incidences in the hotspots.
Zulkifli who refused to name the hotspots however said Sarawak police commissioner Datuk Mohammad Sabtu Osman will make the announcement on the matter.
