KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin juga memaklumkan beliau sedia mendengar pandangan pemimpin-pemimpin parti pembangkang berhubung cadangan yang beliau kemukakan.
Jelas beliau, sekiranya cadangan kerjasama bipartisan ini dipersetujui, beliau akan memanggil sidang khas Dewan Rakyat untuk membentangkan usul undi percaya kepada Perdana Menteri dalam masa terdekat.
Muhyiddin menjelaskan, beliau mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk memastikan pentadbiran negara tidak kembali dikuasai kumpulan kleptokrat.
"Tujuan saya kemukakan cadangan ini ialah untuk membolehkan kerajaan terus berfungsi di waktu pandemik dengan sokongan bi-partisan di Parlimen.
"Pada masa yang sama, saya juga seperti anda semua, mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk tidak membiarkan kumpulan kleptokrat kembali memerintah jika kemelut politik ini tidak diselesaikan segera.
"Maka, saya dengan penuh takzimnya menjemput semua pimpinan parti politik untuk membincangkan cadangan-cadangan ini pada minggu hadapan.
"Saya bersedia untuk mendengar pandangan mereka berhubung cadangan ini. Sekiranya cadangan kerjasama bi-partisan ini dipersetujui, saya akan memanggil Sidang Khas Dewan Rakyat untuk membentangkan usul undi percaya kepada Perdana Menteri dalam masa terdekat," katanya ketika menyampaikan Ucapan Khas - Bersama Memulihkan Negara
Muhyiddin turut memberi jaminan beliau akan mengambil tindakan yang terhormat dan berperlembagaan dalam menyelesaikan kemelut politik yang berlaku pada masa ini.
