PKR President, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that any Statutory Declaration involving the country's political position is no longer relevant.

He added that Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, is giving opportunity for everyone to have an audience with him.

"His Majesty is giving space to everyone, hence the Statutory Declaration is considered irrelevant," he said when met by the media outside his residence after an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the National Palace this afternoon.

Commenting on whether the number of MPs (PH) is now sufficient to form a government, he points out that this is not an issue in that regard.

“His Majesty will oversee the process, and we will justify our choices without making any statement outside.

"So, it may be different from any statement made outside," he told reporters and announced that a press conference would be held at 4.30pm at the PKR headquarters, here.
