Muhyiddin said what was important was for BN to continue working hard.
The political crisis in Selangor is a good lesson for the Barisan Nasional (BN) to become a better party, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Muhyiddin, who is also BN deputy chairman, said what was important was for BN to continue working hard to resolve the people's problems, especially the water crisis in Selangor.
"They (Selangor government) could not resolve the problem and let it prolong, but we cannot criticise them because it may be a lesson to us," he said.
Muhyiddin said this when opening the 38th annual convention of the Malaysian Indian Muslim Congress (Kimma), at the Putra World Trade Centre here today.
Also present was Kimma president, Datuk Seri Syed Ibrahim Kader. Muhyiddin described Pakatan Rakyat's ongoing fight for the Selangor Menteri Besar seat as a "long winded drama".
