NOH: Mohamed Azmin must be aware of these things rather than hunting for mistakes done by Khalid Ibrahim
Selangor Umno are disappointed with the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) for approving billboards that advertised alcohol related events like 'Oktoberfest'.
Selangor Umno Liaison chairman Datuk Seri Noh Omar said such billboards put up at several locations in Shah Alam was not suitable with the nature of the Shah Alam vicinity.
"When Barisan Nasional (BN) was in power, such advertisement was not allowed but the current Selangor government have allowed such billboards to stand tall.
"How can this happen? The new Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali must be aware of what is happening right in front of his eyes instead of going on a witch hunt to find mistakes by the former Menteri Besar," he told reporters after attending the Tanjong Karang parliamentary constituency's Korban function
held in conjunction with Aidiladha, here Monday.
'Oktoberfest' or a beer festival was organised by Carlsberg Malaysia from Sept 24 at various locations, including Saujana Hotel Subang and Berjaya Times Square Hotel.
The event will end with an outdoor festival from Oct 10 to 12 at the 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya.
