Shafie Apdal is ashamed of party-hopping issue

Only the people can determine the victory of a party in the election while the leaders can only win the hearts of voters and provide the best service to them, said Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

In this regard, the President of the Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) said political parties such as UMNO, Bersatu and others can only argue and raise issues at a high level, but it must be remembered, in the future, those who have the power to choose are the people.

"We are actually ashamed, the issue of jumping party does not happen in other states, such as in Sarawak.

"But, I am confident that the people are now matured and wise. If a candidate is seen to like to jump the party, the people can throw him away," he said in a press conference after the handing over of the Native Land Grant here.
