Sitting position of Muhyiddin, Shafie Apdal changed in Dewan Rakyat

The sitting positions of former deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and former rural and regional development minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal were relocated.

The sitting position of Muhyiddin, who is Pagoh MP, was shifted to the H2 Opposition area, and seated next to Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Muhyiddin was previously seated on the front row on the government's side, directly to the right of Najib, a position befitting for the number two post he had held.

Mohd Shafie, the Semporna MP, was seated in the Opposition G4 area, next to Pasir Mas MP Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz from PAS.

Both were previously seated at Block E.

The sitting position of Muhyiddin was changed after he was sacked from UMNO for disciplinary reasons before he became the President of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM).

Mohd Shafie, who was suspended from UMNO, announced his decision to quit the party in July and became the President of Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan). -- Bernama
