Six UMNO leaders sworn in as senators

Six UMNO leaders today took their oath of office as senators in the Dewan Negara.

They were sworn in before Dewan Negara President Datuk S. A. Vigneswaran.

The new senators are UMNO Youth Vice-Chief Khairul Azwan Harun; Melaka Wanita UMNO Liaison Committee Chief Datuk Rabiyah Ali; Kelantan UMNO Liaison Committee Secretary Datuk Hanafi Mamat.

Seputeh UMNO Division Chief Datuk Mustapa Kamal Mohd Yusoff; Puteri UMNO Assistant Secretary Datuk Fahariyah Md Nordin and Johor UMNO Liaison Committee Education Cluster Chairman Rahemah Idris.

All of them were appointed for a three-year term beginning today.
