Stern action must be taken against Muhyiddin, Mukhriz - Mahdzir

Barisan Nasional (BN) and UMNO must take stern action against their two leaders, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, who attended the People's Congress 2016 today with leaders of the opposition.

UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said the action of the Pagoh UMNO Division chief and Jerlun UMNO Division chief reflected that they were now part of the opposition.

Mahdzir, who is also Education Minister, said there was no point for them to be in the party anymore and to say that they love UMNO when their actions proved otherwise.

"BN should take action against them, if they have gone this far (they) should not be in the party anymore," he told reporters after opening the annual general meeting of the SMK Dato Syed Ahmad Parent-Teachers' Association (PTA) here.
