Stop party members from leaving, attract more people to UMNO

Puteri UMNO leader Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin today advised movement members to look after one another and prevent their mates from leaving the party.

Instead, she said, they should attract members from other parties to join the UMNO.

She said Puteri UMNO members should not feel disheartened by effort by other parties to pinch UMNO members, but to further strengthen UMNO by attracting more people to join the party.

She said Puteri UMNO members, together with other UMNO members, should be committed and intensify efforts by getting closer to the people, especially the young generation, and get them to join UMNO.

"I want Puteri UMNO members to be strong and to have that fighting spirit," he told reporters after opening a seminar at the Institute of Teacher Education in Durian Dua here today.

She said Puteri UMNO was intensifying measures to track down the young generation who had yet to register as a voter. - BERNAMA
