The PAS Syura Council is expected to make the final decision on the resolution to sever the party's ties with DAP after Aidilfitri.
Head of the Central PAS Ulama Council (DUPP), Datuk Dr Mahfodz Mohamad said currently, the membership of the Syura Council was not complete yet.
"Only half of the Syura Council have been appointed. The Mursyidul Am (Spiritual Leader) and his deputy have not yet been appointed even after the 2015 PAS Annual Muktamar (General Assembly) recently.
"The Syura Council has not yet met. Perhaps after Raya," he told reporters at the grounds of the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) building, here, today.
He was asked about the status of the DUPP resolution which was passed without debate at the recent assembly for PAS to sever ties with DAP.
Mahfodz, who is also a member of the Syura Council for the 2011-2015 session, said the DUPP would abide by any decision made by the council.
"At present, the resolution has not been finalised as this has to be decided by the Syura Council," he said.
Earlier, Mahfodz and several DUPP members handed a memorandum to the MARA management, calling for a full and transparent investigation into the purchase of real estate in Melbourne, Australia by Mara Inc, which allegedly involved a scam.
