Sabah UMNO liaison chairman Datuk Seri Musa Aman reminded party leaders and members in the state to remain loyal to the party and its leaders and to place the party interests above personal interests.
"This is crucial for UMNO to remain strong to continue to fight for the people, race and country," he said at a breaking fast with the Zone 5 Sabah UMNO here yesterday.
The Zone 5 UMNO comprises the party's Libaran, Sandakan, Batu Sapi, Beluran and Kinabatangan divisions.
Musa, who is also UMNO Supreme Council member, said any UMNO members penalised by the party's Supreme Council for indiscipline should accept and abide by the decision.
He said the decision by the council was based on the action of the members' concerned which could be damaging to the party.
"If members violate party regulations, action should be taken. As party members who are loyal to the party and leaders, we should accept by the decision," he added.
