UMNO Sabah will emerge stronger - Tan Sri Annuar Musa

National UMNO Information chief Tan Sri Annuar Musa is confident that Sabah UMNO would emerge stronger after the current challenge involving the resignation of a divisional and branch leaders in Semporna.

He noted that UMNO would usually rise above its trials to become stronger and more stable because its leaders and members accepted every party crisis as a lesson to learn from.

"From what can be observed, the party machinery in Sabah is in high spirits and I believe our 'antibody' will become stronger in the process. Sabah UMNO will become more alert against potential new threats," he told reporters after meeting state UMNO Information leaders here last night.

Tan Sri Annuar said the challenge faced by Sabah UMNO only involved one division.

"It is minor compared to the internal crisis that Kelantan UMNO had once faced, forcing it to rebuild its strength from zero," he said.
