Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has reminded opposition party leaders to be wary of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's agenda.
"Be wary, that is all," she said in brief to reporters at the Parliament lobby here today.
She was commenting on the contents of a letter by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who requested opposition leaders to exercise caution on the agenda by the former prime minister in his declaration.
Wan Azizah, however, described the letter by her husband as the party's internal issue.
"That is an internal matter," she said.
PKR parliamentary chief whip Datuk Johari Abdul, on the other hand, said the PKR stand was clear, that the party did not support the Mahathir declaration.
"But that is up to any individual, whether or not to support the declaration promoted by Dr Mahathir.
"He (Anwar) said if the declaration led to reformation agenda, it was okay. But if there was none (reformation agenda), then it has to be included so that the real reformation agenda would not be left out," he said.
Yesterday, an online media portal reported that Anwar had written a letter to PKR leaders, claiming that the Mahathir declaration was incomplete and away from the real reformation agenda.
