TASEK GELUGOR:The young generation should be prepared to face the political dynamics that is now penetrating the country’s political arena, UMNO Youth Information chief Mohd Shahar Abdullah said.
The ever-changing politics and political uncertainties, he said, would require the young people to have the ability and strength to interpret the situation.
“This means, to face the dynamics of politics, the young people must be mentally prepared so that they understand how to face the challenges which come with the new norms because the situation is different now.
"Before, we were not with Muafakat Nasional, now we are with Muafakat Nasional, Perikatan Nasional, this difference requires the ability by the young people to interpret," he told reporters after opening the Tasek Gelugor UMNO Youth delegates meeting in Kubang Menerong here last night.
He said political dynamics is not something strange as it has been experienced in developed countries, and now, Malaysia is heading towards such a political landscape.
“So we can not feel weak, the young people have to be strong. To face this dynamic politics, loyalty to the party’s struggle that is based on unity, service and loyalty must blend together for whatever reasons,” he added.
On the 2021 Budget, Mohd Shahar, who is Deputy Finance II, said the ministry had met stakeholders nationwide, for their feedbacks.
The 2021 Budget, to be tabled this Nov 6, focuses on four “broad themes” , namely caring for the people, steering the economy, sustainable living and enhancing public service delivery.
