The best player in the Malaysia Cup final, Ahmad Hazwan Bakri, has dedicated the Red Giants' win to their fans for their solid support for the team in accomplishing "Mission 33".
Selangor were chasing their 33rd Malaysia Cup victory after their last in 2005, when they beat Perlis 3-0 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
The Labuan-born player who scored the brace in the 2-0 win against Kedah last night at Shah Alam Stadium, described it as the most historic moment in his career as a footballer.
"I did not expect to score two goals in the final last night. Perhaps it was a blessing to have played at Shah Alam Stadium.
"With regard to my position, I leave it to the coach to place me as a winger or forward in the coming matches," said Ahmad Hazwan when met after the match.

Ahmad Hazwan, 24, scored a goal in each half of the match (3rd and 47th minute) to break Kedah's hearts.
Meanwhile, Selangor's head coach, Mehmet Durakovic, who guided the team to end a 10-year drought to win the Malaysia Cup, is ready to commit himself to a longer stay with one year left in his current contract with the team.

On the Malaysia Cup victory, the former Australian international said it was a "dream come true" for him to win the prestigious cup both as a player and coach.
Durakovic had experienced three Malaysia Cup straight wins, in 1995, 1996 and 1997 when playing for Selangor in the 1990's before lifting the cup as a coach after last night's victory.
"It was satisfying to win the Malaysia Cup, now winning it as a coach. I just don't know how to describe how happy I am," said Durakovic, praising the whole team, especially Ahmad Hazwan, for putting up a splendid performance.
