National champion Datuk Lee Chong Wei edges closer to the title of the Indonesian Open Premier Super Series Badminton championship for the fifth year after trouncing host player Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka, to advance to the final.

At the semi-final round at the Bung Karno Istora Gelora Stadium, Jakarta today, Chong Wei took 39 minutes to cast aside Dionysius Hayom with 21-17 and 21-14.

Waiting for him at the final is German player Marc Zwiebler who also beat another host player Tommy Sugiarto 21-17 and 21-10 in 37 minutes.

For the record, Chong Wei won the Indonesian Open championship in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
