Badminton player Datuk Lee Chong Wei will finally know his fate after the Badminton World Federation (BWF) fixed the hearing of the doping case in Amsterdam on April 11.
This was confirmed by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) vice-president Datuk Seri Mohamad Norza Zakaria at a press conference held at Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara, here today.
Mohamad Norza said, there is a possibility that the verdict of the hearing will be released on the same day.
“In any event of the verdict is delayed, I'd say that it would likely take between one and three days for it (the verdict) to be released,” he said.
He voiced hope for Malaysians and Chong Wei’s fans to be patient and continue giving their moral support towards the player in facing the ordeal.
