Cub Prix rider Norizman Ismail dies

Cub Prix rider, Norizman Ismail died following an incident during today’s CP150 Timed Practice session at Bandar Baru Kijal, Kemaman in Terengganu.
Norizman, 32, crashed at Turn 1 and was thrown from his bike to the air fence in incident.
The marshalls and paramedics retrieved him immediately and a red flag was called at 3.52pm to halt the practice.
At 3.55pm, he was retrieved by the ambulance to the trauma center where he was resuscitated and sent to the hospital on a life support machine with full medical team in attendance at 4.12pm.
According to a statement by the Malaysian Cub Prix today, he was pronounced dead at 4.50pm.

Norizman made his Cub Prix debut in 2004 and was two times national champion in 2005 and 2011.
Following a meeting with the teams and riders, the Cub Prix fraternity collectively decided to cancel Round 3 as a mark of respect to a fallen comrade.
