D'Herbs to sponsor Kedah squad for RM30 million

D'Herbs Holdings Sdn Bhd (D'Herbs) has agreed to sponsor the Kedah football squad for RM30 million in three years.

Its founder, Datuk Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman said they also agreed with certain conditions and were waiting for reaction of the state government.

"We will give RM10 million annually for development to improve the quality of football and want to produce great young players.

"This sponsorship is a huge boost for Red Hawks. If the team does well, I will continue to sponsor them after the contract expires," he told the media at Darul Aman Stadium last night.

The amount agreed was at the request of the state government and the Kedah Football Association (KFA) and will be delivered after the agreement was signed.
