World number one Novak Djokovic won his 30th straight Masters-level match at the Rogers Cup on Saturday, advancing to the final.
Novak Djokovic breezed into the Rogers Cup final, seeing off Jeremy Chardy in two sets in Montreal.
Chardy, playing in his first Masters-level semi-final, showed early nerves on serve, and the world number one did not miss the chance to capitalise on his way to a 6-4 6-4 victory.
Of minor concern to the 28-year-old's fans was treatment to his forearm early in the second set, but Djokovic shook off the niggle to advance in one hour, 20 minutes.
