Dollah drops three players against Tottenham Hotspur
Dollah (pic) says the three players are Ramadhan Hamid, Baddrol Bakhtiar and Afiq Azmi.
National coach, Dollah Salleh is forced to drop three players from the Malaysian Selection squad for the 2015 AIA Cup match against Engish Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs at Shah Alam Stadium on Wednesday.
According to the official site of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), the three players are Ramadhan Hamid (Harimau Muda B), Baddrol Bakhtiar (Kedah) and Afiq Azmi (Selangor), before the squad begins it training session at the PKNS field in Kelana Jaya.
Only 20 players can be registered for the match.
"Baddrul is injured, so he has to be put aside. Ramadhan was dropped because we only listed two goalkeepers while I was forced to drop Afiq because of the five imported players that I called, three are strikers.
"So, I have to sacrifice Afiq only for this match. His name remains assured for the national squad for the friendly against Hong Kong, on June 6 and two 2018 World Cup/2019 Asia Cup qualifying actions against Timor Leste and Palestine," said Dollah.
List of players
Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, Zamir Selamat, Robert Cornthwaite, Thiago Junio Aquino, Muslim Ahmad, Afif Amiruddin, Ronny Harun, Yong Kuong Yong, Zubir Azmi, Azmi Muslim, Nasir Basharuddin, Ashfaq Ali, Joseph Kalang Tie, Indra Putra Mahayuddin, Ahmad Syamim Yahya, Christie Jayaseelan, Paulo Rangel, Guilherme De Paula, Ahmad Hazwan Bakri, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha.
