Pahang team chief coach Dollah Salleh said he had not given any thought to his position with the Tok Gajah squad next season despite ending the squad's 21-drought to win the Malaysia Cup.
Pahang emerged Malaysia Cup champions for the third time after 1983 and 1992 following a 1-0 win over the defending champions, Kelantan at the Shah Alam Stadium Sunday night.
Pahang's winning goal came through a header by import striker from Argentina, Matias Ruben Conti in the 58th minute.
"Let me celebrate my success with the team before I think of my career for the next season," he said in a jovial mood after the match.
Touching on the win, Dollah who won the Malaysia Cup championship in 1992 when he was a player with the Tok Gajah team said it was a proud moment for him as coach.
"But firstly, I want to thank the players who cooperated by rising to the occasion after we had almost stumbled.
"They succeeded in making use of the chances and finally succeeded in winning the Malaysia Cup championship," he said.
Sharing his views was the best player in the final match, Azamuddin Mohd Akil who did not expect to get the title.
"Alhamdulillah (Praise to Allah), I am thankful to the success of the Pahang team who managed to end the 21-year wait to win the Malaysia Cup.
"The win is also for the loyal supporters of the Pahang team, especially the residents of Kuala Lipis (district) who gave their undivided support to me all this while," he said.
Meanwhile, Hodak has slammed the poor refereeing which gave the Tuk Gajah squad a chance to lift the Malaysia Cup for the third time.
"I don't want to talk about that but overall, our players played a good game but unfortunately, they failed to convert the scoring chances," he said while congratulating the Pahang squad for lifting the Malaysia Cup.
Touching on his future, the 42-year-old Croation-born coach, who guided the East Coast giant to clinch several successes, revealed that he had received coaching offers from several teams.
"This is my last game with Kelantan and I want to thank the Kelantan fans, team management, all players and coaching staff who had worked with me for the past two years.
"Not many teams could emulate the achievements (of Kelantan) because you need strong support from the management," said Hodak.
