The English Premier League enters the third round of matches and at the time of writing, there have not been many eyebrow-raising moments save for the consistently good performances put in by newly-promoted Leicester and a not-so-good display by reigning champions Chelsea.

Currently second in the table, Leicester will be hoping to continue their good run of form against Spurs, but it is far too early to pick any serious title challengers. (Leicester City vs. Tottenham Hotspurs - 10pm, Sat 22 Aug on Fox, Astro channel 812/832)

Based on current form though, Manchester City lead the pack.

Two convincing wins over West Brom and Chelsea certainly place The Citizens as early title favourites once again, but there is a long way to go.

Next up for the blue half of Manchester are Everton, brimming with confidence after their master class performance against Southampton. (Everton vs. Manchester City – 11pm, Sat 23 on ASSP3, Astro channel 816/834)

But looking at the list of fixtures, the pick of the bunch must surely be Arsenal versus Liverpool.

Of the two, The Reds head into the match with better form but it would be naive for anyone to write off Arsenal just yet.

Outplayed by West Ham in the first game, the Gunners bounced back and put in a much spirited performance in edging out Crystal Palace last week.

Petr Cech and co will need to be at their best though, to have any chance of beating Brendan Rodgers' men in this enticing encounter.

My prediction? A high-scoring draw, looking at how erratic both teams are at the moment. Maybe 2-2. (Arsenal vs. Liverpool – 3am, Sat 25 on ASSP, Astro channel 810/831)

Based on previous encounters, one thing’s for sure, this fixture will not be short on drama.
