The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) has advised football fans to avoid buying tickets for the FA Cup final between Kelantan and Lions XII on Saturday, from ticket touts.

KAFA secretary-general Datuk Ismail Md Noor said football fans should only purchase their tickets from ticket counters.

"Eight counters will be open and each person can buy only five tickets at a time," he said.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) had allocated 30,000 ticket each to Kelantan and Lions XII from Singapore for the FA Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on May 23.

FA Cup final organising chairman Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah said the remaining 20,000 tickets would be sold online through the www.tickethotline.com.my website starting Wednesday and fans can redeem their tickets at the National Stadium counter starting 10am on Thursday.

He said Kelantan fans can start buying tickets at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Baharu starting Wednesday and Lions XII fans can purchase their tickets at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore from Thursday.

Afandi said unsold tickets allocated for Lions XII would later be sold to Kelantan fans or through the online system.

Kelantan, winners of the FA Cup in 2012 and 2013, made it to the final after beating Pahang 3-2 on aggregate while Lions XII earned their ticket on the away goals rule after a 4-4 aggregate draw against Terengganu.
