“Yes! If Leicester win the Premier League, I'll do the first MOTD (Match Of The Day) of next season in just my underpants," vowed BBC sport presenter Gary Lineker in December, last year.
On Saturday, he delivered his promise right before legion of sports fans, who waited with bated breath for his 'bizarre' on-air appearance
The 55-year old former Leicester City striker appeared on the show in nothing else but an oversized white briefs boasting Leicester City logo on it.
The promise was made on his Twitter account last year when The Foxes top the league but still viewed by many as an underdog.
According to BBC, Lineker appeared wearing the brief during the first 30 minutes of the show before he changed into his proper hosting attire.
“It's a one-off and a sporting miracle that has landed me in my underwear,” he said.
Netizens made up of football fans applauded Lineker’s act in keeping his promise.
