GRITG Ares are the PMNC 2021 champions, enters PMPL MY/SG S4 with top 4 teams

After almost two months of competition, GRITG Ares came out on top as the victors of this season’s PUBG Mobile Malaysia National Championship (PMNC 2021). They dominated the Grand Finals with two Winner Winner Chicken Dinners and 91 eliminations.

The top Miramar Zone squad pretty much held the top spot in all three days of the PMNC 2021 Grand Finals, held over the weekend (16 – 18 July). Though they faltered a little in Day 3, their gargantuan combined points of Day 1 and 2 (157) helped keep them afloat to stay four points ahead by the last match. On top of their RM30,500 winners’ cash prize, GRITG Ares also won entries to the upcoming PMPL MY/SG Season 4 (PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia/Singapore), finally taking the next step in their esports journey.

1. Yoodo Gank
2. YSX Esports (X)
3. Team Bosskurr

Both Yoodo Gank and Team Bosskurr are probably breathing sighs of relief now, successfully scoring return tickets to the locally-renowned PUBG Mobile tournament after placing in the bottom 4 of last season’s Finals. As for YSX Esports (X), this will be their first time competing in a pro-tier competition, so we wish them the best in their first foray into the pro leagues!

However, the battle is not over yet for the fifth to 10th-placed teams of PMNC 2021 Grand Finals. These six squads will be battling each other once more for four more spots to PMPL MY/SG Season 4 Regular Season.

In other related news, the PMNC 2021 Ladies Battle Zone Finals crowned DR SC PPG as its victors. The fierce females may not have gotten any WWCDs, but they (more than) compensated for it with an insane number of 60 kills. Congrats to the squad!
