Dutchman Robert Alberts sees Armed Forces (ATM) and Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) as two the strongest teams in this season of the Malaysia Super League.
"ATM should be doing better in the league besides JDT as they have good foreign players including a World Cup player (Jerry Nelson Palacious Suazo from Honduras) and several good local players," said the Sarawak coach when asked which teams were the strongest in the league.
ATM also have the services of Nigerian Obinna Nwaneri and Abdulafees Abdul Salam.
Even their coach B. Sathianathan had said that he had a better team this season but was wondering why they could not win in the first two matches. They lost by 0-2 margins to Kelantan and Perak.
According to Alberts, there were also strong teams in the Premier League as they had bigger budgets to buy good foreign and local players with attractive salaries.
He said some of the players in the Premier League teams were being paid higher salaries than some of his local players.
