Honda Team Asia wants Moto3 racer, Khairul Idham Pawi to be given the space and time to stay focused in his career.
Honda Team Asia in a statement thanked the Malaysian media and supporters who appreciated the success and showed interest in the success of Khairul Idham.
Khairul Idham created a record by being the first Malaysian rider to win a World MotoGP championship title in the Moto3 class after clocking 41 minutes 35.452 seconds at the Argentinian Grand Prix at Termas de Rio Hondo circuit on Sunday.
"We hope Khairul Idham will be given the space to concentrate on maintaining his momentum in the coming races.
"He will be facing tougher races after this and sometimes it may not go on smoothly. What we hope is for this to be repeated," said Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd motorsports division manager, Zulhelmi Ahmad.
Khairul Idham's success sees him collect 25 points to be in seventh spot after two races.
He is next scheduled to turn out for the American Motorcycle Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas in Texas from April 8 to 10.
