Harimau Muda A's losing streak in their European Tour continued after their 1-5 loss to Slovakian club side, MFK Ruzomberok, on Sunday.
The defeat was the team's eight defeat in 11 outings.
The Harimau Muda A, winners of the gold medal at the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia, are on a playing tour to Europe for a five-month period, to prepare for their title defence at the Myanmar SEA Games 2013 in December.
MFK Ruzomberok's five goals came through Mukalenga Lewis (20th min), Richard Bartos (56th min), Martin Nagy (60th, 70th min), Janso (62nd min) while Rozaimi Abd Rahman score a consolation goal in the 81st minute.
Coach Ong Kim Swee said a tactical change by their opponent in the second half resulted in their big loss.
"A positive approach and good movements restricted the opponents from taking a healthy lead in the first half but a number of changes saw our opponents score four goals in the second half," said Kim Swee through his twitter account.
The Harimau Muda A are in Europe since March and expected to return home before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The squad is expected to play in the Pestabola Merdeka in August and represent the country in the World University Games (Universiade 2013) in Kazan, Russia from July 6 to 17.
