KLHC edge THT 6-5, to retain MHL Charity Shield

The Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club (KLHC) retained their Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) Charity Shield title when they edged Terengganu Hockey Team (THT) 6-5 at the Batu Buruk Hockey Stadium here last night.
Both teams were tied 2-2 at full time before the visitors triumphed 6-5 in a penalty shootout.
KLHC opened the score via Muhammad Noor Faeez Ibrahim in the 31st minute but THT equalised through Faizal Saari two minutes later.
In the 51st minute, Muhammad Umar Bhutta scored a field goal to put KLHC two up but Jang Jonghyun equalised for THT in the 56th minute.
The win saw both teams sharing a point in the league.
The trophy was presented by Terengganu state secretary Datuk Wan Nawawi Wan Ismail.
