Leona Chin wins double at China's Tianjin circuit challenge

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian race car driver Leona Chin clinched a double victory at the CCSC China Circuit Sprint Challenge at Tianjin V1 International Circuit. Competing in a BMW M235i one-make race, Chin outperformed nine of China's top male drivers.

Qualifying on July 20 saw Chin securing pole position for Race 3. In the summer heat of Tianjin, she demonstrated her skill by winning Race 3 from start to finish on the morning of July 21.

Her victory in Race 3 placed her on pole for Race 4, held later that day. Despite challenges such as overheating cars and intense competition, Chin managed to secure another win, underlining her competitiveness in the motorsport arena.

Previously, Chin also secured a double victory in Races 1 and 2.
