Malaysia are shut out of the 2018 World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup finals after losing to Palestine in a group A qualifying round match.
With the 0-6 loss at the Amman International Stadium in Jordan on Thursday, Harimau Malaya retained their fourth placing in group A with four points and two more matches in hand.
It was the same score when Palestine humiliated Malaysia in their own turf in the second group A match at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on June 16.
Playing at about 17 degrees Celcius, the Palestinians mercilessly punished Malaysia with continuous waves of attacks.
Palestine's captain, Jonathan Cantillana opened the score in the 36th minute and two minutes later, Ahmed Abunahia made it 2-0.
Abunahia was on target again in the 45th minute and the score remained 3-0 at the end of the first half.
In the second half, Abunahia made it a hattrick for himself when he struck again in the 58th minute.
Palestine added two more goals with substitutes Tamer Seyam in the 88th minute and Jaka Hbaisha during injury time.
Malaysia will be hosting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Shah Alam stadium on Nov 17.
In another group A match, UAE blasted Timor Leste 8-0 at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
